Service Description
PURPOSE: Walk and talk therapy is counselling that is conducted whilst walking outdoors. You have the opportunity to express yourself in the changing natural environment but the focus is still on exploring your issues together in order to discover a resolution or opportunity for change. CONDITIONS: Only available after the initial conclusion of an Online Intake Session and completion of requested documents (review the Essential Reading page). You can bring your dog along to our sessions, but first your dog's personality and temperament will be considered in determining which if any sessions are appropriate for your dog to attend. LIMITED LOCATION: Jointly chosen park or urban green space in Eindhoven or North-Brabant area, NL. BENEFITS: * Connect with each other in nature * Be active and energise the body * Boost mood and improve focus * Reduce stress and decrease anxiety * Practice mindfullness AGENDA: - We will reflect on your goals, interests, problems and state of being at the time we meet - The movement is easy-going: You'll set the pace and I'll follow your lead - We can stop, take breaks or sit down at any time - Complete exercises and methodologies - Create challenges and personal practice
