It is very important to me to share with you a bit about my own struggles. My hope is that by being open and honest, I can encourage others to dare to do the same. By sharing our stories with each other, we can also create new ones and let the healing power of connection work it's magic.

 

Growing up I have experienced within my family: divorce, addiction, mental health problems and mixed forms of domestic abuse. It caused me a lot of harm and pain, but I also learned how to be more resilient, compassionate and grateful. It helped me immensely that I was able to make new connections with people who showed me empathy and support on my journey of healing.

By overcoming my challenges I became very passionate about helping other people and I developed a deep curiosity to better understand the human mind and behaviour. For this reason I dedicated five years of my life to studying psychology and two additional years specializing in coaching and counselling with the clear goal of building my career in the mental health and care fields.

Throughout the years I have traveled a lot and lived in several countries: Romania, Hungary, Kurdistan (Iraq), England (UK) and I am currently residing in the Netherlands. I am equally proud of my roots and of my multicultural experiences, because thanks to these, I am able to view life from multiple perspectives and relate to people with various backgrounds.

My experiences and values have shaped the person who I am today: a kind, empathetic and honest individual, who is actively looking for opportunities to make a positive impact in the world. I have plenty of positive energy to share and a relatively good sense of humour which helps me maintain a hopeful outlook in life.

I know from personal experience as well, that healing and progress can be a complex and challenging process, but change is always possible and that is what matters the most.
